Getting here took 26 hours and 3 planes. There was a screaming baby on every single one of those planes. But I'm so thankful that we're here. Stepping out of the airport in Ho Chi Mon city the humidity took your breath away. We only spent about 10 minutes outside and immediately went back in another door to take another plane. The airport there had no wifi and we were all looking at each other like what do we do now??? It's definitely become the foundation on Maslow's hierarchy of human needs. And it's definitely what will be keeping me sane for the next 25 days...messages and apps that allow you to call and text home....pathetic I know but I can't imagine the withdrawals of not having my daily Lola picture : )
The hotel is very nice. The AC works great and Hillary and I are so thankful for that!! The shower produces hot water for about 2minutes so either your quick or your getting a huge wake up call.
The humidity outside is about 95% today so even though it's only 70` it feels so much hotter. We're keeping our hotel room at a cool 60` and loving it. I know clayton is reading this and shaking his head.
We had a day off today so we all rode a cytlo ... yea that's how it's spelled. Pictures below : )

We are having so much fun! And learning tons about the culture.
So far our team has learned...
1. don't tell people their baby is cute or else the spirits will come steal their souls...tell them that their ugly as goats
2. don't ask Daniel if he speaks Vietnamese
3. don't say thank you
4. nod head and look down
5. don't touch babies heads you'll release their spirits...this is a bad thing
6. when crossing the street just keep going, do not stop, the motorcyclists will stop or go around you...in theory.
Our professor who's on this trip with us said she was awoken last night by "a furry flat animal" scurrying up her curtains....we have names said animal "pancake rat". Hillary is not excited to meet this said rat. I am ready to kill. Speaking of kill Hillary is quite the misquito hunter. She harms them emotionally by cursing at them then smashes them with her words and her fists.
This is Hillary. Don't let her sweet face fool you. She is a natural hunter.
